Thieves Skills
Thieves Tools: They can be found on loot corpses or purchased from some specific NPCs, used to help the character unlocking a locked lock (chest, door, etc). Thieves Tools are not used nor considered for traps disarming.
Unlock Locks:- Unlocking chests will provide some XP based on the difficulty CD, but chests can't be manually re-locked.
- Unlocking doors won't provide any XP, but doors can be manually re-locked.
- You can't attempt to unlock something that requires a key!
Disarm Traps: ALL traps, both from placeables or on the ground will re-spawn after some time.
Pickpocket:Pickpocket can be executed almost everywhere, there are some areas with restrictions though, like most temples. (Basically, it won't work into any NON-PvP area)
To start Pickpocketing, just use the
Pickpocket Skill against your target:- Once the target is selected,
if you are out of combat, a conversation appears, and you have to select if you want to try to steal gold or items (see down here on this page for specific rules and limits).
- Once selected, your character will start to move towards the target
- When the target is reached, a progress bar will appear for a few seconds, showing you how long the theft will take.
- If you are in combat, you automatically try to steal from the target (without choosing what to steal), but with a higher DC.
Pickpocket attempt:Attempt is made using your

Then:
- If you are caught, your character will perform a NOT skippable animation, and the target is notified and you are instantly set as hostile.
